Project 07 - Open-Back Hexagon Twist
Here it is!. My favorite origami tessellation so far. It's name (as you se in the big text) is Open-back hexagon twist. In the book, by Eric Gjerde, it is a Intermediate project. It is made of a 32-triangle grid on a hexagon.
As usual tessellations do get a very nice backlight effect so I have a picture on that too.
And this is the back.
And this is when you backlight it.

Robert J. Lang describes origami
In this video Robert J. Lang describes origami from a different way. He tells you about that origami isn't just a simple flapping bird. It is something more, that it is used in science, for satelites, in medicine and more. I think that this video is good because it says that origami can be used in the real world.

Project 03 - Tiled Hexagons
This is the project Tiled Hexagons in the book Origami Tessellations. I've used dubble-sided paper with two colors. The module is made from a triangle grid from a squere. And I think that when you backlight it, it will get a very nice effect.
And this is when you backlight it.

Star puff tessellation 32-grid
Here it is! the star puff tessellation. It's a 32-grid and with 19 puff stars. It took me about 2 hours to fold this tessellation, 1 hour only by pre-creasing it. It is desinged by Ralf Konrad, and it's in the book Origami Tessellations only with 7 stars then but that goes to.

My Origami Collection
Some of these modules are old and some are new. The buckeyballs are new and the star puff tessellation are new and the spring into action (the one to the left) are new. The swan (the one to the right) is made of 3d origami units. I think that it is about 550 pieces. And all around the picture there are origami snowflakes by Dennis Walker.
